BRASILPLAST SHOW 2011

Bekum do Brasil participated in Brasilplast show 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil. As always, the show was an excellent opportunity to meet with customers and to inform about the latest developments of Bekum do Brasil and the Bekum group. The highlights of the 2011 edition were the new electric machines and new machine models of Bekum do Brasil.

NEW FACILITY

On March 31, 2011, Bekum do Brasil moved its Brazilian manufacturing unit to its new headquarters in Avenida Miguel Yunes, 823 in Interlagos, São Paulo. The new facility has an area of 4000 m2 (43,000 sqft) and Bekum will continue to manufacture the entire blowmolding machine program in the new plant. The current delivery comprises machinery for mono- and multilayer applications and blown articles from 50 ml to 160 liters.

BEST OF THE YEAR 2010

At a ceremony held on November 18 in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, Bekum do Brasil was awarded the PPR TOP MACHINES in the category of Blow molding. The award is promoted by the magazine Plásticos em Revista in recognition of the best companies in the Brazilian plastic industry. The PPR is the only award in the Brazilian plastic industry that is given based on an independent research.

K 2010 SHOW

Once again, customers and friends of Bekum from around the world met at our booth at K show in Dusseldorf, Germany between October 27 and November 3 to get familiar with the latest trends in blow molding technology. The timing was right to launch our new generation of electric machines with a number of innovations and features, as well as new machine models with higher outputs.

LONG STROKE

BM 907 D is the latest and largest member of our successful BM range. With a clamping force of 400kN and a maximum mold width of 1380 mm the machine is designed for high-output bottle and container production with repeatable quality. A large multinational laboratory has recently ordered an additional two machines for the fully automated production of flexible medical bags.
